וַיַּחֲנ֤וּ עַל־הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ מִבֵּ֣ית הַיְשִׁמֹ֔ת עַ֖ד אָבֵ֣ל הַשִּׁטִּ֑ים בְּעַֽרְבֹ֖ת מוֹאָֽב׃ (ס)
At nagkampo sila sa tabi ng Jordan, mula sa Beth-jesimot hanggang sa Abel-sitim, sa mga kapatagan ng Moab.
Exodus
All the people saw the sounds, the flames, the sound of the shofar, and the mountain emitting smoke. The people saw [all this] and they trembled, and stood far off.
Numbers
Yisroel settled in Shittim and the people [of Yisroel] began acting promiscuously with the daughters of Moav.
